I make jewelry and I have a website to sell on. The thing is that the pictures I’ve taken look blurry (i don’t have good lighting in my apartment). I have a kodak digital camera that i use. What is the best lighting time of day and what is the best flash type to take photographs of my jewelry

You need a light tent and two light sources and a tripod. Shoot at night

tripod will solve your blurriness, as said above a light tent is the answer. Dont expect professional results just as I dont expect to make pro Jewerly without any knowledge or training……… [who] Pink says Sagapou

First of all, you can’t shoot jewelry holding the camera… use a tripod.

Secondly, on camera flash will NOT properly bathe the jewelry in complimentary light. Try using two flashes on the outside of a large tupperware bowl (for light diffusion) that you have cut a whole in for your lens. I’ve done some very nice macro work this way without having to set up all those soft boxes.

Lighting MUST be color balanced. [who] Fotoz 4 FX photography

I have a setting on my Kodak digital camera that is a symbol of a flower. I use this one and push the left arrow to adjust the lighting to slightly darker or right arrow for brighter.
Then I try to hold it really still. But if you can borrow a tripod that is best.
I have a website I sell my crafts on too and this works for me.
Keep practicing and you’ll figure it out!
    Good luck! [who] Lynn33
