That would look great. They’re using all sorts of “non-traditional” lighting in bedrooms & bathrooms these days. [who] yowza
It’a a very nice piece if you really want an overhead light in your bedroom rather than a more ambient choice. If you decide on the overhead, put a dimmer on it so you can have the choice of dropping the light down a bit. [who] dawnb
Yes it will work fine. Here in california, we have to use flourecent in kitchen and bathrooms for the main lighting (or any energy saving fixture). Many people don’t like the look or the light that comes from them, but that is our energy code. If you don’t live here in California, use what you like. [who] diver0604
My Fiance and I have recently installed a chandelier over the bed in our Master bedroom. I was actually against it at the beginning, but it really added a lot of appeal to the room. I highly recommend it. I am glad that we chose the one that hung less, as we have 8.5′ ceilings and the other might have been semi-intrusive. I would say if you do go with a chandelier, measure the space between the bed and the ceiling and be conscious of how much space it leaves! Good luck and enjoy the bedroom make-over! [who] soccrian

That is a really pretty fixture, though it could be dwarfed by the room. I think it’d be great in a smallish room, but if you have a big room, consider something a little more dramatic, like a chandelier or a ceiling fan. But the pendant light is really pretty.

The one you showed us was nice, but it depends on the look of your room. If it’s classic style, this would work. If not, a crystal chandelier is romantic and would look so beautiful. [who] mab5096
