I think Blair Witch was made with a spotlight attached to the camera. [who] Mere_Mortal

    How long is it?
    Whats your budget?
    How many actors are there?
    Whats the costumes?
    Whats the environment?
How light at night is the neighbourhood?

You say low-budget, a movie-director has to start somewhere.
Try doing it in the daytime and dim the light flow with your movie making software on your PC.

Try and ask your lighting shop, if it doesn’t go out good, there is movie lighting editing tools, for image and video editing. [who] CybX Systems
