What different lighting can I put in to my discus aquarium to make it look nicer?

the moon glow lamps are lovely, they pick out the flecks of colour on the discus, paired up with an aquaglo for daytime lighting (gives the live plants a good boots) [who] Zoso!
if you go to your pet store, they have really cool coloured lights, like green, red, blue and black, you may have to buy an adapter, but it is totally worth it. [who] ringjunkie123
That is true because the usual fluorescent light tube..being a white light glares at the fish making them restless and edgy. There are blue tubes in the shops but I forget what they are called,but they are much better. [who] HAROLD W

I got two blue lights, which can either submerse or go outside the tank, and you have to buy a hub for these lights. They are called “Marina” and I got mine from Pets at Home – very cheap. You can attached 4 lights to the hub as well, so lots of choice as to where to put your lights…
You can also get blue, white, green or red in the Marina style…
They look very cool, and my fish seem to like the blue light..
