How do I build my own emergency lighting?
Adam the Engineer asked:
I work for DOT and frequently assist stranded motorists in my off time. I would like to build my own LED flashing amber/white lighting to improve my vehicle’s visibility on the side of the roadway. Where can I get the components I need to do this? I’d like really bright LED and IC’s that will regulate flashing. Where can I get these?

Hi,
Does anyone know how the emergency lighting system on a aircraft is activated? Is it automatically or manually done?
