You better check your local codes. Your local gas utility could probably answer your query. I think that in order to have enough gas lit fixtures to see properly, you would have to have a lot of them,or they’d be very large. Either way, that means you will have large products of combustion present from burning the gas in the open area. Ive never seen any advertised for indoor use. good lick. [who]

likely against the building codes, plus expensive to run, hard to clean up after, and a fire hazard…

why not buy a few kerosene lamps, to use when you are in the mood…. [who]

Wow good question, I was wondering this too when I seen my first gas light indoors, but it wasn’t a working one.
But here is a site to answer a few questions. [who]

i am pretty sure it is against codes. I think the only place they are allowed is on the exterior. Just FYI…gas lighting is EXTREMELY unsafe. [who]

I believe gas lighting was banned in the States years ago. I know it was in Michigan when I lived there and rented a home that had both gas and electric lighting throughout the home. The home had to have the gas tapped off and rewired for electric. That was in the early 80’s. It’s too dangerous and it was a pain to light them. [who]
