felix asked:

I have a website and would like to add a candle lighting ceremony for people to light their own candles. Does anyone know how I would go about that? Is it something I have to obtain through my host? Is it done through a photo programme. I have no clue where to even look. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Charlie Babbage says:

One way to do it would be to have two images, one with an unlit candle and the other with a lit candle. The default image would be the unlit candle.

When the user wants to ‘light’ the candle s/he would click on the default image which would then change to the image of the lit candle.

Hope that is of some help! [who] Charlie Babbage

You could create a big picture, and add candles dynamically.

    1) Draw original background
    2) Use database to fetch candle users
    3) Draw candles in random on the background
    4) return photo [who] Brian
