How do I get my printed photos to match the color and lighting of the image on my screen?

The image on my screen looks great. When I print the lighting and color are very off and it looks horrible. I can’t seem to get it right. Is there anything I can do about this?

    you have to look up monitor calibration settings for your specific printer. If youre printer’s no good, then that’s the other half of the problem. Consumer photo printers rarely do a good job. [who] dols
