I have a house in a major US City with a 3rd-floor outdoor deck that also allows access to the roof. These areas provide my only outdoor areas and excellent views of the city skyline, and thus are ideal for entertaining. The deck is small (about 10′ x10′), has an outdoor light, and has one outlet. The roof has no electrical outlets or lighting. I am trying to find ways, preferably permanent, to light and provide music to these spaces. Also I am a college student on a very tight budget so the cheaper the better. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Because I have a portable mirror that sits on my window sill, I think that tells the truth.. But then When I go out.. i catch my reflection in a shop window I look horrible! Whats with that?.. I honestly think this mirror tells the truth as the daylight is hitting my face gently and theres no other lighting???.. Do you agree?

Me and my friend got in an argument. I said that if you got hit by lighting you would be seriously injured, if not dead. He said it would pass harmlessly through you, into the ground. I need to know which, if any, of us are right or wrong.

Just got a 29 gallon Marineland Kit from Pet Supermarket. There is a hood included but it does not meet the lighting requirements needed for a planted aquarium,2-3watts per gallon. What are some reliable brand names? Which parts would I be looking to purchase to increase my lighting to atleast 60w.? Any help is greatly appreciated, TY.
