Rich asked:

What are the different types of camcorders called? Are there different types? The lighting, zooms look totally different in TV, films, and personal home videos. What other differences are there? How do you create home videos that look like films or even tv shows. Also, how can you capture photos and shoot videos that look professional like tv or films? I don’t know anything about photography and filming.

  1. TV guy says:

Go to Sony.com and look under their professional equipment (cameras, etc.)
Professional cameras cost thousands of dollars – they have higher resolution.
Cinematography is also something you can go and study in school.
Studios use also a lot of post-production equipment to add special effects, clean the colors, editing, etc. [who] TV guy
