The bulbs/tubes that don’t come on, would they be burnt out or would it be the ballasts? It’s a drop ceiling “T” bars and has the flexable plastic 2×4 frosted panels that sit on the “T” bars. This is the lighting in my kitchen.

We have a renovated house in France with thick stone walls and extremely high, oak ceilings. We would like spotlights with lots of power but because the walls are so thick, wiring may be a problem?? The room is very dark at the moment because of the existing in-sufficient electric lighting that has been previously installed. Any suggestions of type/suppliers/design would be gratefully received!

Thanks.

My apartment does not have enough lighting but I hate when lamps are scattered all over the place. Is there an alternative to lamps when you are renting?

I am the general manager of a lighting showroom. I’m looking to gain more business by offering something GREAT for home builders and contractors. If you are in this field, what do you generally expect or wish you could gain from this sort of partnership? Commission for referrals? Discounts? Free lighting design?

niquelynne asked:

I live in an apartment in which we cannot replace fixtures n’ stuff. The lighting in my bathroom is hideous. It has a long metal panel on the wall above the mirror with three light bulbs screwed into it. CFL bulbs aren’t exactly pretty to look at. Is there something I could get to kind of cover the thing up with? I think it’s the silliest thing ever! Who want to be staring into three lightbulbs anyway?

LED lighting uses much less electricity than normal lighting, doesn’t it? So, why isn’t it used instead of conventional lighting?
